About Extreme Paintbrawl 4

The "#1 Best Selling Paintball Game" gets another sequel with Extreme PaintBrawl 4, featuring a new hardcore mode along with the standard capture the flag, center flag, elimination, and gauntlet options. Splat arenas include a military base, indoor area, prison, junkyard, gulch, crypt, forest fortress, office, construction yard, movie theater, and winter forest. Online play is available on the Internet or via a LAN connection.

Pre-game options include managing your team by scouting and recruiting (for a price) a bevy of computer-controlled players with unique speed, evasion, and accuracy skills, tracking lifetime stats, and buying equipment. The dozen markers in this non-lethal combat game feature names like Widower, Thunderstik, Granger LX, A3 Avenger, Thurmanizer, Slug, Cannoway, L27 Rockwell, and so forth. Outfit your team in specific camouflage or colors and purchase accessories like CO2 canisters, paintballs, and grenades.

Tournament mode offers a trophy room and distribution of skill points before entering battle, and game options include adjusting the number of hits taken before a player is out, number of flags required, shadow, scenery, and texture detail settings, five resolutions, and music and sound toggles. A "walk the field" option allows you to scout arenas to search for hiding places and strategic ambush points.
