Flying Corps: Gold Edition is a classic flight simulation game based on real World War I battles. Since its original release, Flying Corps: Gold Edition has stood as a benchmark for its realistic depictions of aerial dogfighting. In the game, you have access to 6 different planes, among those are some of the most famous of their time.
The game features both Instant Play and Campaign modes. Exclusive to the Gold Edition is the addition of a head-to-head Multi-Player mode.
The game is split into four campaigns: The Flying Circus (1917), The Battle of Cambrai 1917, The German Spring Offensive (1918) and The Hat In The Ring (1918). Several airplanes are available, including the Sopwith Camel, the Nieuport 28 and the Fokker Dr.I.
Each plane has been modeled with care and has been given all the appropriate nuances both in and out of the cockpit. The inner dynamics of the planes have been made with great attention to detail, allowing you to check the speed, the height of the aircraft, the targets, situational awareness and many other onboard options. In the heat of battle, the interface will give you everything you need, while still feeling authentic and interactive. The flight dynamics are believably realistic and pose an appropriate gamer's challenge.
