JumpStart 3D Virtual World: My First Adventure is a 2008 adventure game developed and published by JumpStart Games.
JumpStart 3D Virtual World: My First Adventure is a computer game released by Knowledge Adventure on May 12, 2008. This game was produced using Autodesk Maya 3D animation software.
It is the preschool level entry in the JumpStart 3D Virtual World series.
In the game, players create avatar characters to represent themselves, and play learning activities to earn pieces of storybooks.
The main focus of the game is unlocking and exploring different areas. There are six areas: the Neighborhood, Craft Corner, the JumpStart Town Square, Pet Land, the Beach, and the Jungle. The player can freely move around in and explore each area. Unlike the other games in the 3D Virtual World series, player movement is controlled exclusively with the mouse, not arrow keys. The player can click on building, character, or spot to move to it. The player is often guided by a set of objects that form a trail to specific location that can be collected on the way there.
The player can complete learning games at the Learning House. After a learning game has been successfully completed, a present is automatically sent to the player's mailbox which contains a random decoration or music CD. The decorations can be placed in various spots and CDs can be placed in music players to play music. There are a set of tasks that can be completed at each area. Completing tasks allows the player to unlock storybooks, which can be read at the library. The learning games at the Learning House are split into sets that correlate to each area. To unlock a new area, the player must complete all of the tasks and learning games that correlate to the current area.
