Sandy, the girlfriend of the game's hero Dave, has been kidnapped by the evil scientist Dr. Fred Edison. Dave must recruit two friends and enter the old mansion to rescue her. Maniac Mansion Deluxe is a one-to-one remake of the original Maniac Mansion.
