Sonic Eraser (ソニックイレイザー, Sonikku Ireizā) is a 1991 puzzle game developed and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis in Japan, as part of Sega Meganet, a network service that allowed players to download specific games onto a Sega Game Library cartridge for play; the game also saw a short release in Brazil, as part of the service's short launch there. The game is a simple falling blocks game where the player must match specific blocks to destroy them, while also occasionally being attacked by the other player.

Sonic Eraser remained unknown to the Western Sonic community until February 2004, when several Sonic CuLT users successfully purchased the game off Sega's Japanese website, before dumping and translating it into English. The game was also meant for inclusion in Sonic Gems Collection, but was dropped for unknown reasons.

Sonic Eraser is a falling blocks puzzle game, in a similar vein to Columns (1990); players use the d-pad to move the blocks, and must match them up to remove them, however depending on the game type chosen, getting enough blocks matched in a row will cause their Sonic to attack the other, which causes them to temporarily lose control. The game ends after one Sonic's blocks reaches the top of the screen, or if the timer runs out.
