   I try to install CC however i am having difficulties with it, i extract the required file and when I do the extracted file is still in a ‘SIMS2PACK FILE’ type. can anyone help me make it change to a PACKAGE type so i can get the CC to work?

   I tried this for the third time tonight. It looked like it froze again the first time I started it, but before I could restart my computer my grandson came running in the back door and I ended up fixing dinner and doing the dishes. When I came back to restart my “frozen” computer, Sims 2 was asking me to pick a neighborhood. It takes FOREVER the first time it loads, but it loads.

   Game played fine for 2 days but now the actual game won’t launch or open at all. I’ve deleted any CC, restarted my computer, and it still won’t launch.

   Hi, the download went fine but when i load in the game i don’t have the base game neighborhoods, i only have Belldonna Cove, Desiderata Valley and Riverblossom Hills..

     I’m having the same issue except none of the neighborhoods loaded and it says I need custom SimCity content to create my own neighborhood. Did you ever find a fix?

   everytime i try to create a sim it does not work, the sim doesnt pop up and it crashed. anyone else having the issue

      ust like the sims 4! go to your downloads folder by going to documents-EA games-The sims 2-Downloads- and create yourself a mods folder. I recommend to be organized such as make a folder for Hair-Clothes- and more! I hope this helped you

      same here. shadows and refreshment rate are greyed out, unable to change in-game.
