    when the file finishes downloading it doesn’t show up as a file but as a blank page, I’m on windows 11.

      That’s because it’s a “.rar” file, which is like a file containing several smaller compressed files. If you look up “How to open a RAR file” you can see there’s lots of apps and stuff on the windows store you can use. I use the windows BreeZip app and it worked great

    Coming back to say im so glad i found this site. Im able to play old sims seamlessly, only needed the graphics rules maker mod.

    I downloaded the game however after when it shows the intro , it keeps crashing. anyone have any idea to why that is? I did run as admin too.

    hi! can someone help, i can’t get mods to work. i’ve watched multiple tutorials from youtube etc. but just doesn’t work. only one lipstick set is working (by accident?) and i’ve try to make everything work at the same way but no, not showing up in the game. help plsss

    I’m so confused. I can’t open the game because it says it failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters and idk what that means. I have a decently new computer that I just got last year. Help?

    my sims keep having this black shadow underneath them when indoors. i keep turning shadows off in settings but it doesn’t fix it. not sure if its related but i had to fix my resolution through the files like the instructions said because it didnt have my resolution listed. is there something that can fix this?

    hi! i’ve installed this game and everything went well, but after a few times i can’t run it anymore? could anyone know why? task manager says it’s open but nothing happens on my screen. i’m tired of reinstalling and losing my households over and over again :/

    Not sure if my previous message came through, so apologies if you see this comment twice!

    I have recently installed the game and all works great so far! Just wondering if I could receive some help in regards to changing the resolution and turning off shadows? For the resolution I was following the instructions, but I cant seem to find the TSData folder anywhere, nor the expansions folder. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Also, whilst I haven’t checked the shadows yet, I can’t change the settings (they are greyed out) so for now I am going to assume they’ll be a little broken, so any help in changing that would be great too.

    Hi there! I am having a slight issue with finding the Mansion and Garden Stuff folder to change the TSData to fix the resolution. Any chance you could help? No worries if not, very happy to be able to play this game again.
