I’ve tried 3 different serial keys and none of them are working for me

The one in the post above does work but it’s the letter S not a number 9

Does anyone get the error message called “component transfer error”? I get this message at 95% of the installation, it happens while the sims creator is being installed. The setup just shuts down after this error message and I don’t have the sims.exe at my program files. Help would be much appreciated!

Does anyone have this error called “component transfer error”? It appears when the installer is installing The Sims Creator 🙁 I have a Maxis and The Sims file created at the program files, but the sims.exe doesn’t exist there so my installation isn’t complete 🙁 Please help!

It’s working for me. Here’s what I do.

    1. “start.exe” isn’t working so don’t open it. If you do, close the task in task manager too or the next step won’t work.
    2. Install directx from DirectX8a folder
    3. Open “Setup.exe” from Setup folder.
    4. Use the provided code (it’s working for me).
    5. Crack the program as usual. Find the shortcut then fine “open folder destination”. Copy the crack and replace the old one.
    6. Open the game with combability mode. I use Win XP service pack 2 and it’s fine.
    7. DO NOT OPEN the game icon that has resolution in the name. Just open the game from your game folder.
    8. DO NOT DO ALT+F4 or you’ll lose the graphics immediately (have to restart the game).

    Enjoy! Hope this helps!

Maybe it’s a stupid question, but does anybody know what shortcut works in this Sims collection to open the cheat box? I tried everything that google says and still nothing ;(

It crashes when I use the setup file. I followed the instructions and I’m not new to getting old games to work. So I’m afraid it really isn’t possible on Windows 10, no matter what is stated here. Just to let you guys know and keep you from wasting your time downloading it. If I get it to work at any point, I’ll update this.

I was stuck on this step; clicking “setup.exe” just did nothing. I right-clicked, went to properties, and set the compatibility to Windows XP SP 3. Then I right clicked the exe again and selected Run As Administrator, and it is running the install now! Hopefully it will work for you, too.

I also can’t open the start.exe file, not as an administrator or otherwise. Nothing ever happens. I extracted the files as instructed.
