The gameplay in Tonka Space Station combines thoughtful planning and on-the-spot problem solving with a fair helping of arcade-style action to give young gamers a well-rounded challenge. Kids will begin by actually building their own space station and then must work to keep it running as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Resource gathering and supply management become important, as players will need to collect food and fuel to keep the station working as it should. The Tonka Space Station will need protection too, from dangerous meteoroid collisions. Luckily Tonka Joe (represented in full 3D) is around to offer encouragement and advice when needed. This title might especially appeal to kids with an interest in outer space but it is meant to be appropriate for creative children of all ages.
