Game Description
The Lord of the Rings: Conquest is a 2009 action game developed by Pandemic Studios and published by Electronic Arts. It is derived from The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, and borrows many gameplay mechanics from Pandemic’s Star Wars: Battlefront games. The game allows the player to play as both the forces of good and evil, but unlike The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth, the latter option is based around Sauron stopping the One Ring from being destroyed and using it to regain his lost power.

i open the game and i have a black screen how i can fix that?
Having these errors. d3dx9_38.dll was not found. And, XINPUT1_3.dll was not found. Help if anyone knows how to resolve this.
I had this problem with other game. Search “d3dx9_38.dll download, XINPUT1_3.dll download” and just download it, then put them into the files, i think it should work.

I’m on mac with Bootcamp.
I’ve downloaded from the Metafire link.
Installed everything following instructions, Directx included.
Then, when I’m lauching the game, I’ve got a white screen then a black screen and nothing more.
Does anyone knows a fix or a few things to try ?

For anyone having trouble, simply right click the .iso file and Open with Windows Explorer. It will automatically mount, and from there you can run setup.exe as an administrator and you should be 100% good to go from there if you just click next for everything.

I installed this game on windows 11, but it doesn’t create a profile, therefore I cannot move forward.
Any thoughts on this? I run it under adm. permissions
I just downloaded it and said did everything u said and well its working perfectly fine with my pc no errors or anyone and im on windows 11 btw yeah im glad i got to play this again, 2024 oct 28

Is there an option for splitscreen available? Wanting to play with my buddies through the campaign.
Neither of the file download links work, the first one no longer exists, and the second brings you to an unknown empty page.

After a lot of trial and error, I finally got it working (original problem being the game would freeze or crash after a couple of seconds upon loading up a level) I ran the games exe (also works by doing this from the games shortcut) on Windows XP SP 2 and turned every display setting in the game itself down to low and took the resolution down to 50Hz hopefully this can help someone with the same issue.
