The Sims 2 is a 2004 strategic life simulation video game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It is the sequel to The Sims. The game has the same concept as its predecessor: players control their Sims in various activities and form relationships in a manner similar to real life.

they ask me code from back of CD…what shall i do
Stupid, downloaded it and clicked installed and got a fatal error even with firewall and virus turned off.
Hello all, I did all the steps but when I open the game from any source mentioned below simply nothing happens. Not even an error message. Can anyone help me why or what did I do wrong?

Go to your files and click “setup” where your sims 2 downloaded (most likely under “This PC”)
I’m well sure she installed the game and that’s where nothing is happening because I have the same thing. Installed, cracked, it doesn’t launch. Can’t even uninstall it because the uninstaller crashes instantly and I get a message “Did this program work correctly?” from Windows with options to run it in compatibility mode. Which I did, for both the game and the uninstaller, but nothing happens still. This same download worked fine on Windows 7 for me, but not on Windows 10.
Hi, Im using a windows 7/ 32 bit. I did every step and when i opened the crack file to open the sims exe application and run it as an administrator , it tells me that its not compatible, i tried to change the compatibility to windows 7, but its still the same and if i click on keep running it tells me no CD inserted.. However i did enter the key words! what do i do ? I would be very thankful for your help.
Forget what I previously said, now it opens, I’ve got the process but nothing happens still. It goes “fullscreen” as in it changes my desktop resolution to 800×600, but the game itself is not visible, I still see my desktop. This happens after the crack’s splash screen, money or whatever. Same thing happened with Ultimate collection I got from here. Ran as administrator, ran in compatibility mode, I’m out of ideas.
How do I change the language, if I’m installed the game on an external hard drive?

I did that, but it’s still not opening. The game only opened for me once and I keep getting error messages
I’ve tried to download the game twice and after both install I’ve gotten a message telling me to insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application
Never mind,I got it to work. I just made the cracked version run as administrator. (❛̃ ‿‿❛̃)
Ive also used the cracked version and ran as administrator, thanks it working fine now, but does anyone know how to add expansion packs to the base game. There are no instructions on the page.
where did y’all save the cracked version? cause i don’t get it. i alr did what the instruction said
I keep getting a red circle with a white X when I try and launch the game. Can anyone help me? I really would like to play this game.

I’m on Windows 10 and I initially had a few errors (had a wordless error, couldn’t find dvd rom error etc) I solved it by going to the mounted file, entering the ‘Crack’ folder, and right clicked on Sims2 (the application file) and selected ‘Run as Administrator’.
The steps are: This PC (folder) > DVD Drive (E:) Sims2 > Crack (folder) > “Sims2” (application, right click + select ‘Run as Administrator’)
One thing to note is that I didn’t manage to find the TSBin file nor replaced all the files as mentioned in Step 5. What I did was I pasted the “Sims2.exe” into:
Documents (folder) > EA Games (folder) > The Sims 2 (folder)
When I tried to launch the game here, it did not succeed. So, remember to launch from the mounted file!

Can you help me please. I don’t know if I managed to mount the file as I couldn’t work out how to do that. I managed to find the Crack folder and right clicked and ran as administrator but it runs the error message ‘some files were corrupted during installation please reinstall sims 2’
Is this because I haven’t mounted it? If so how do I do that – I couldn’t find an iso file when I unzipped the folder I downloaded.
Games work fine but Custom Content does not show up (yes, I know how to install/add CC), nor is there a Program Files folder for the Sims 2 so I have no clue how to find the graphics rule file in order to increase the specs of the game for my more modern computer. Any clue on what the issues are?

i have a problem every time i start the game it say ,unspecified error, anybody know how to fix this. i am confused by now and Im about to give up on the sims 2.
the “art tag” text is “money”. it’s all it boot up. I don’t even know what it has to do with the sims 2 ???? please help i’m so confused.
Doesn’t work. I have done everything you said but the game show up a little window and it’s just the picture of a “tag” name art then it dissapear and nothing else. Please for the love of god help me i want to play this so bad
