The Sims 2 is a 2004 strategic life simulation video game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It is the sequel to The Sims. The game has the same concept as its predecessor: players control their Sims in various activities and form relationships in a manner similar to real life.

I get this error when trying to install it. Is it my Antivirus? I put the folder as an exception but it seems to still do this.

The game keeps crashing one me when I try to select a neighborhood. I am running the game through administrator and my computer can only load the game in compatibility mode. What could the answer as to why the game keeps crashing? I have downloaded your sims 1 download as well and that works fine. I also have the sims 4 a majority of its packs. What could be the answer?

I’m having trouble getting my game to save, every time i do save and then go back into the game it starts all over again
Are you running the game as an administrator? That usually solves save issues. Also make sure your antivirus isn’t deleting your save files.
I have a slight problem. Whenever i go into the intro screen the game suddenly turns black and crashes. No crash notes, nothing it just crashes. I already tried running it in serveral compatibility. Does anyone have a fix? I really want this to work.

The download does work but there seems to be something wrong with this application and Windows 10. Downloaded everything according to the video you posted on Youtube and attempted to run Sims 2 as an administrator. I am only able to get to after the starting cinematic where the loading screen starts. When it gets halfway the application crashes.
Is anybody else having this problem?

Hello,
I’ve installed the game and first time running it I was able to go to the neighborhood menu and choose one, but when it was creating hobbies the game crashed. I’ve restarted the computer and it opened and closed again. I’ve change to compatibility mode and now not only does it not open but it say “the application has crashed”. Can you help me, please? I am using windows 10 on a ROG G752VS laptop with a 1070 GTX graphic card.

When I exit the game it says this

When I exit the sims 2, it’s gone from my desktop.
