The Sims 2 is a 2004 strategic life simulation video game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It is the sequel to The Sims. The game has the same concept as its predecessor: players control their Sims in various activities and form relationships in a manner similar to real life.

hi, i have a question, i been playing this game after i installed it using this tutorial, and now i cannot openit anymore. It just says “please insert the correct DVD-ROM, select OK and subtract application”, i read the tutorial, and i do everything it says, but it still doesnt works, i been playing for two days, and now i cant play anymore. what can i do?
mount the .iso everytime you want to play.

I just wanted to install the base game, but after finishing the install and replacing the sims2.exe file with the crack file it still gives me the “no CD DVD ROM error”. Does anyone else experience the same problem?
if you want to play with ONLY base game, then mount the .iso everytime you want to play!

Hey, i’ve been playing this game for about 2 weeks now and everything works perfectly except for the fact that i have no original sims that come along with the game like the goth family etc. i remember when installing the game the first time it was almost done installing when a message popped up saying “failed to install neigborhoods” or something like that. i didnt know what to do i have no og families or community lots. what should i do?.
Wow interesting. Check your Neigbourhood folder in Documents > EA GAMES > The Sims 2
Is there are N001, N002, and N003 folder in there?
All 3 are there but they are empty. There is also a file called ‘NeighborhoodManager.Package’ and another folder called Tutorial
Try to delete neigbourhood folder, then start the game. Why? Because it will force the game to regenerate neighbourhood folder, and will restore them.
It’s asking me for a product key from the back of the case. Since I don’t have one, does that mean I can’t play?

No, open the No-CD folder then open serial.txt, that is the product key. Or use this: BKUL-CS68-J6AT-37Y7-KX4F (not guarantee it will work as i got this from internet)

That is not normal. Make sure you run the setup with compatibility mode XP Service Pack 2

If u guys wondering “why i should ollow that tutorial”, it is because many people has been helped with the tutorial. I just wanna help people here so you guys do not need to experiment.
When I to start the program in NoCD folder it won’t start and shows a small empty white box and the only thing I can do is click the red exit.

I downloaded the game and it works perfectly but I tried to buy a car for my sim but the only vehicle available is the helicopter is something wrong???

I have the ISO mounted but whgen i hit the setup.exe file it says please insert correct disk, when it says its mounted and nothing I try will work
