I installed this a while back and everything worked well (it crashed sometimes, but no big deal) but I found the dics at a thrift store and I’m going to use those from now on. How do you uninstall this? Is there anything special I need to do?
Go to C:Program Files (x86)EA GamesThe Sims 2. Open “Sims2_uninst.exe”. If it does not work, open “eauninstall.exe”. Or just go to your computer settings and uninstall TS2 like other program did.
If you bought the disc version, I suggest you to get a no-cd crack on somewhere in the internet, because sometimes the disc verification is failing on Windows 10. Or, just run it on older computer running Windows XP (if you have any)
My sims have frozen in their bed and I can’t get them to move/. Their aspiration / wants / needs meters are behaving as expected (i.e. all of them bar energy and environment are going down), and life is continuing on around them as normal (car pools & newspapers arriving), but they are not moving and I can’t get them out of the bed. I can queue actions like use toilet or take shower, but it does nothing, help !
Activate cheats, then reset your sim by shift+click on your sim and select force error, then press reset. After that delete the bed and buy a new one.
How do I activate cheats? The usual Ctrl Shift C isn’t opening anything for me

Also make sure the Custom Content you download is compatible with TS2 base game only

Maybe I’m stupid, but I followed your tutorial and all, but I dont have any houses or local famillies. There is literally nothing in town. And when i choose to create a new family the game jus crushes…

I installed the game but some problem occures. I don’t have the Caliente sisters, plus there’s limited amount of npc locals sims. I need more friends to go higher in my career but literally there is no more just few sims to call. When go to the public place there always come those few sims that I already know. I also cannot call to the directors of private school to keep in touch. Any idea to fix it?
Delete N001 folder in Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2, so that the game regenerate Pleasantview and hopefully your problem solved.
I’m not sure where I’m going wrong but the game looks like it installed properly and makes it as far as the main loading screen after the theme song plays but then crashes and shows an empty error box with a red cross and no options other than closing the message.

I’m not sure where I am going wrong. I have followed both the above tutorial as well as Disil’s tutorial and all that I am able to get is an error stating to insert the correct DVD-ROM, select OK and start application. I’ve tried using the compatibility option, using the administrator, I made sure that it was mounted and had the key (I have a disc version of my own but my disc reader doesn’t work properly, so I opted for the digital download instead). Please help.
How about patching your Sims 2 Base game? Have u already done it?
Also, where do you put No-CD crack of Mansion and garden stuff?
Make sure to run the game with Sims2EP9.exe, not Sims2.exe

Ok, i mounted it, but the only mount that was there was mount as a drive or something like that, but now i do not see a “setup.exe”
Right click on the .iso files, then select mount.

do we have to crack paste in the garden and stuff game u have put ? i installe dthe game,, theres no problem but when i move a family to any house it keeps on loading FOREVER and never loads, when i quit it, it says game crashed sometimes, do i have to crack paste?
