The Sims 2 is a 2004 strategic life simulation video game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It is the sequel to The Sims. The game has the same concept as its predecessor: players control their Sims in various activities and form relationships in a manner similar to real life.

i downloaded it and everything but when i tried to boot it up it says “Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application” please help me.

I installed the crack but it isn’t working what can I do?
When I try and run it a (Program compatibility Assistant) tab comes up saying “this app may not work correctly”. The sims game opens and runs but as soon I try to play a household, It gets stuck on the loading screen. Any help?
i couldn’t find the iso file
after doing the tutorial and finished installing it, i press the run with administrator and a window opened with an “X” in it

Thank you for everyone who understand my explanation, because my english is sucks. If you see my explanation in TS2 Ultimate page, well I feel tedious to answer same questions over and over, so I decided to end my free-assistance on June 2021.
1. However, for this TS2 Base Game, it looks like people understanding tutorial I made and not asking that same question over and over. So, TS2 Base Game support will still available. But remember, I’ll dont active everyday for now, I will check this comment section every week instead.
2. Apparently, the Sims2.exe No-CD files that are included in the setup are broken, you still need to mount .iso everytime want to play. So search it on google, just cautious so you dont wanna end up with virus.

Try this tutorial. Follow the method one, but be sure to backup ur save games before doing that.
I just finished installing it. The game works perfecty and I am so excited to waste thousands of hours on it ! Thanks for making it availabe 🙂

no, try googling for the Sims2.exe crack, it should work (if it’s not already included in your download) then replace the exe file with that cracked version
I already installed, copy pasted from nocd to program files (EA) and run it as administrator but it still cannot be played because it’s says “Please insert the correct DVD-Rom”. Help me

i have downloaded mounted and installed the .iso file, however whenever i try to run it it says no disc. have tried running it as administrator and also through windows compatiblity tools but no dice. also tried rebooting my pc, but that didn’t help much either. idk what to do know?

I lost some of my neighborhoods. I don’t know how to fix it and I don’t know why this happend too.
Regenerate The Sims 2 folder in Documents may help u. Go to Documents/EA Games and delete The Sims 2 folder.
