The Sims 2 is a 2004 strategic life simulation video game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It is the sequel to The Sims. The game has the same concept as its predecessor: players control their Sims in various activities and form relationships in a manner similar to real life.

Hi! Just wanna say the game is good and I like it BUT! I can’t exit from fullscreen and the fullscreen is 800×520 (520 ish). if there’s someone who can help me with it please msg me or comment idk 😀
Go into the properties of the game and in the ‘Target’ box, type a space and then type ‘-w’ without quotation marks. That runs the game in windowed mode. To just get out of the game, press Alt-Tab.

Every time i open the game it crashes for that same reason there’s no ea folder. Does anyone know what should i do?

Can someone please help me, I’ve successfully downloaded and installed, ran the game and I decided to delete the Disk Image File to clear up some space, after doing so I realised that was a bad mistake and the game could not work without it. So I deleted everything and reinstalled the Zip file, unzipped the game put whenever I try and run the setup I get a empty prompt on my screen. Please help 🙁

Well you should have done Step 5 in the instructions, that would have made it able to delete the disk image file. Make sure you unmount it before deleting it though.

If anyone knows how to set the game up and is willing to do a YouTube tutorial on how to set it up pls leave a link to the video for everyone to see so people don’t get lost everytime they download the sims. It’ll save a lot of us🙏

this is a pretty good tutorial that i followed and got the sims 2 working hope this helps
The game is working fine, besides the fact that changing the shadows to medium or low still leaves the black box when sims are indoors. But that’s not too bad, what I’m having trouble with is that every time a family goes to change appearance or visit an external lot, the game crashes.
Can anyone help me with this?
