The Sims 2 is a 2004 strategic life simulation video game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It is the sequel to The Sims. The game has the same concept as its predecessor: players control their Sims in various activities and form relationships in a manner similar to real life.

After running setup.exe it says to insert the correct CD rom and restart the app. Mine’s windows 11. What should I do?

There’s only one installation key in my files and it doesn’t work.
i downloaded the game and at first glance it seems to work. however, when you try to pick a place to play in (the cove, valley, etc.) it starts loading and either something crashes or it just gets stuck playing the same sound over and over again, you cant close the application. The only way i got it to close was by restarting m y whole pc
I moved the game file from NoCD into TSBin to get it to work, but now the game launches for a split second before crashing with an “unspecified error”. Any fix?

hi, on the link u shared i followed it but grumpy loader is refusing to open.
I moved the noCD one into the TSBin folder, now the game launches for a split second then i get an “unspecified error”. Any fix?

So I’ve successfully loaded the game, on windows 11, there was no need to mount a iso as setup.exe was avaiable to run, the game works though it seems I do not have access to all the expansions, any idea how to fix this?
Im afraid you can’t install expansion to the game because the EP will try to patch the base game and it will fails miserably.

For some reason it is say there are 0 bytes for free space when I try to copy the file into TSBin. My computer has plenty of space, does anyone know how to resolve this?
Step. 5 Once the installation has completed, open the “NoCD” folder and
copy/paste “Sims2.exe” from the NoCD folder into the folder you
installed the game. By default this will be “C:Program Files (x86)EA
GAMESThe Sims 2TSBin”. When prompted, you must confirm that you want
to replace the files in the destination
You’re not supposed to place it in DVD Drive (D:) Sims2TSBin. You’re supposed to place it in the folder that the game is installed to. Look in C:Program Files (x86)EA
GAMESThe Sims 2 then look for the TSBin folder; if you can’t find this directory, you likely installed the game somewhere else.
oh well cut into the chase i have installed the Sims 2 base game and i wanna try out other expansions for the base game, how should i installed it properly?

Thanks for wasting my time with this piece of garbage installer that ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT WORK!!!!!! If you aren’t going to do it right, just don’t bother, I’m sick and tired of garbage half-assed stuff like this cluttering the internet and wasting my time!

you need a bigger hard drive. try clearing out spaces in ur hard drive
