The Sims 2 is a 2004 strategic life simulation video game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It is the sequel to The Sims. The game has the same concept as its predecessor: players control their Sims in various activities and form relationships in a manner similar to real life.

So whenever my character moves, there’s a black rectangle under them. How do I fix this?
This is a common glitch. It even happens if you buy it from the sims website. Sadly, I don’t how to fix it. But, it’d be better if you ignore it, because this will not affect the rest of your game.

Anyone know how to add mods and use them? I saw that you should add to the downloads folder but i dont have it. I dont have any folders. Only game files like autorun.inf, icon.io, language.txt. ; resolution.txt. ; setup.exe.; setup-1.bin, setup-2.bin.
Go to ‘This PC –> Documents –> EA Games –> Sims 2. It’s not in downloads for some reason. Then follow the instructions from this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9r4ch5m4mc. And it should work. 😀

I’ve downloaded this before and I’ve tried to save custom content but none of the custom content buttons work and the game options are very limited compared to other verisons of the game I’ve seen I don’t see any option to enable custom content.
Also, if you have any ideas on how to add expansion packs to this version of the game please let me know!

ive been playing this since 2020 and i downloaded it from this site, i promise this is completely legit! i havent had any problems when im playing the vanilla game

i have a windows 11 and i have 2 problems. first one being that once installed it says to insert the correct CD-ROM, select okay and to restart the application. My other problem is that i keep getting a warning that the app might not work correctly because of security or performance issues and it gives me the options to get help online or run the program without getting help. What do i do?
