The Sims 2 is a 2004 strategic life simulation video game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It is the sequel to The Sims. The game has the same concept as its predecessor: players control their Sims in various activities and form relationships in a manner similar to real life.

I launched the game just fine but I had to install everything on the E disk cause C suddenly got full. Everytime I launch this game there are no neighborhoods? What am I missing?

I can’t install lots downloaded from fan websites (like Mod The Sims). The files are of the SIMS2PACK type.
Also, the IKEA extension does not work, the furniture (from this extension) present in the houses of my backup (from a previous computer) has disappeared.
How can I do this please ?

Archive.org doesn’t work anymore, use MEGA.
If u still have problems and u get the error message pls insert disk number 1 just copy that unzipped sims map files into a new folder, it helped me getting the game to work

Every time I’ve downloaded this, my storage driver on my PC plays up.. Is it my PC or the game itself doing that? And if it’s my PC, do you have any solutions to fix the issue? Because I would love to play the Sims 2 on my PC (mostly for childhood memories)

I’ve followed the instructions to a t but when I try to launch the game it says ‘cannot locate the CD-ROM. Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart’. I’m really unsure what to do?
