Got it to the installation part, but then tells me that files are missing and it forces me to make .package files 1 by 1. Im not dealing with it anymore.

I installed it and everything is fine, but the no CD file just doesn’t work, I have copied it many times and it keeps telling me to insert the correct CD
anyone who’s struggling to dowload it, I’m on windows 11 and this is how I managed to fix it:
follow every step up until using thr file from the NoCD folder. Instead, go into the sims file that is mounted, go into crack, and make sure you press ‘run as administrator’ otherwise you’ll get an error message

i have windows 11 and i cant copy the sims into the tsbin folder because it keeps telling that i have no space in the the sims folder to copy into it, what can i do?
Hey, dont know what i have done wrong. But the game is crashing all the time. The mansion and garden addon crashed at the start of the game.
If i follow the instructions and set the graphic set low, med, high at 3, setidefaultlow 4, it crashed directly without any start.
Plz help me to fix it. My Wife love this game.

I don’t know what exactly I’ve done wrong, but I’ve tried following a million and one instructions (from the specific instructions written here AND from various people’s comments for troubleshooting) but I just Cannot get this to work 🙁 It’ll be going well and then I’ll get an error — can’t locate the CD-ROM, failed to find DirectX 9.0c, incompatibilities with the one provided, the random little “X” with no explanation, literally everything. I think these instructions make SENSE, because I’ll get far enough in the process, but I just cannot get it to run on my computer.
I’ve tried many times over the last few months and I just ! Would love some advice of what to do (and yes I will be trying all the different options again). I’ve got Windows 11 on my computer, if this changes anything. I managed to mount the game into its own thing, and I’ll get that minigame that pops up and the game SAYS it’s loading, but it just fails.

Okay so I successfully installed the game and everything with all the DLC, modified the resolution text file and also applied Windows Vista Service Pack 2 Compatibility in settings. But once it gets to the loading screen it just crashes for no reason. I mean I guess there’s a reason lol but idk what the problem is.

Also, I’m playing the game in window mode, adding ” -w” to the destiny route in the shortcut file. Hope works for you!

[PROBLEM SOLVED – Windows 11 Latest Version]
1. If you still get the “Please Insert the correct CD-ROM” notification:
* Do not copy the files from the “NoCD” folder. They will not work.
* The ISO file also contains a “Crack” folder. Use the files in this folder instead. They will work.
[NOTE] If the previous steps still fail and you have already copied the files from the NoCD folder:
* Reinstall the game.
* Follow the steps I provided to copy the crack files again.
2. If you get an error message and need DirectX 9.0c:
* Create a new shortcut.
* Right-click the shortcut and select “Properties.”
In the Shortcut>Target field, after the quotation marks, add -w (Target: “[your folder instalation Name]” -w) dont forget to space before -w.

Once I have done all the steps, I run the program as administrator but I get a small screen with a red circle with an “X” and it won’t let me play… What do I have to do??

So it loaded for me and isn’t showing that i need to put a cd.
But when I launch the app it shows the pop up “Money” then it doesn’t open.
Anyone know how I can get it to open?
