The Sims 2 is a 2004 strategic life simulation video game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It is the sequel to The Sims. The game has the same concept as its predecessor: players control their Sims in various activities and form relationships in a manner similar to real life.

I installed the sims game today on windows 10 and it worked for me. I copied and pasted the .exe file from the crack folder to the Tsbin, applied the 4GB patch to it and used the compatability mode to disable full screen optimisation and enable compatability for windows xp (service pack 3).
Followed everything, when trying to run the game though it tells me that the game may not run properly due to causing security or performance issues in Windows. It then says to seek for a newer version of the program, and the game doesn’t run.

I installed the game yesterday and when I opened it, the same thing was happening to me, and I found a solution (at least for me)
Yo go to the settings > for developers and activate the developer mode, then open the properties panel of the game’s .exe, go to the compatibility section and click on the boxes to disable fullscreen optimizations, run as administrator and save it (Basically like in the image https://1drv.ms/i/s!AtQcrzkePQOlcCX_FYqATrZIeZc?e=K7TshS)

Pasted crack .exe file in TSbin, still asks for correct cd rom. this method does not work as of 8/18/2024
I have a windows 11 I changed the xp but it says there is not enough room to fit the NoCD verison how can I fix this?

I installed the game, and i seem to have all the expansions… except for Ikea stuff for some reason. The items from this pack just. Don’t show up in my game. Do you know what might be causing this? Do i need to download the Ikea stuff separately?
You do need to download separately. All the cracks I have found of this exclude it for some reason & I’m not sure why exactly D:
Okay so for all the people trying to get this on windows 11 , if its not working try clicking on the icon ‘Sims_2″ and choose properties then change compatibility to Windows XP pack 2 or 3 and it should run it without problem. I just spend few hours trying to figure that out so now you dont have tooo.. YW <3
I did this and it is still giving me the same error message that the CD ROM is missing
You need to go into the NoCD folder on the ISO and copy paste that to C:/Program Files(x86)/EA GAMES/The Sims 2/TSBIN and delete the existing Sims2.exe.

there’s no serial key.txt in the downloaded files.
check in the extracted file ISO under game files.
