    This download worked great for me. there are a few glitches, but nothing major. this is great for anyone feeling nostalgic. be sure to follow the directions step-by-step or it won’t work correctly. 🙂

    Even running in compatibility mode & as administrator, the game is buggy. Sim Icons are missing, pop up windows flicker on and off, and the game freezes often. I did use a different torrent a few months ago but can’t remember where I got it from, and it worked a lot better than this one.

    The game just continues to freeze for me and is virtually unplayable. I’ve changed the compatibility mode and I’m running as administrator. Any suggestions?

    hey, i installed it, the game is lagging and Everytime i switch neighborhoods it keeps loading, how do i fix this?

    i ran the compatibility in Windows XP service pack 2 and its still lagging

      in the same tab where you choose service pack 2, click on ‘run compatibility troubleshooter’ . it might fix the issue.

    Hi. I’ve played the game and the nostalgia has now worn off. It worked fine apart from the town screen had a couple of problems sometimes and my games wouldn’t save so whenever I went on I kept starting a new game, which wasn’t an issue for me as I didn’t want to keep the game long term. Now I would like to uninstall the game and can’t! It keeps notifying me of an error. How can I remove this game from my laptop without doing a factory reset (obviously) or anything?
