Pippa Funnell: The Stud Farm Inheritance is a 2005 simulation game developed by Lexis Numérique and published by Ubisoft Entertainment.
Part adventure game, part horse-riding simulation, Saddle Up has players managing and gradually upgrading an inherited horse farm as they prepare to compete in riding tournaments held around the country. The game offers 14 horses to care for, including Fiesian, Palomino, and Andalusian breeds. Each horse must be kept in show-worthy shape through a combination of training exercises and grooming activities, from brushing and feeding to washing and shoe cleaning. During competitions, players can have their horse walk, trot, jump, and run at three galloping speeds before advancing to the dressage tests. Multiple sets of riding clothes and gear are available to unlock as players complete various goals and objectives. In addition to the competitions and care taking segments, the game also features a mystery to solve as someone is trying to sabotage the farm. Olympian Pippa Funnell lends her name and likeness to the game so she can offer training and competing advice throughout play.
