From Independence, Missouri, to Oregon's Willamette Valley, travel the trail carved in the harsh wilderness by 19th century pioneers. Your food supply is limited and there's no way to predict how long you might be on the trail. You'll have to rely on your hunting skills to keep from going hungry. Stop along the way to buy supplies, trade with Indigenous people, and share stories with others on the trail. Face snakebites, broken wagon wheels, dangerous weather, disease, even death. There are constant decisions to make and challenges to meet. Your destination is the lush Willamette Valley. Land is plenty, opportunities abound, and you can begin a new life.
