   i own all the discs but my laptop doesn’t have a disc reader, and it wants me to pay for them all again? is there a way to avoid this. this is such crap.

     You can buy a cd rom usb port for your computer/laptop and it should work. It works on mine.

   Hi everyone, thank you for all the support. For The Sims 25th Anniversary, The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 have been relaunched by EA as “Legacy Collections”. They are available for purchase on the EA website, Steam, and other platforms.

   Its working fine however I keep getting an error message any time I try to save. Ive also been unable to add sims into houses I have created.

   Yes, my old Windows XP computer is old, but it still works. I even have all the physical copy downloaded. I do own a Sims one I just can’t get it to work Windows 11 computer.

   I have copied every single file for my Windows XP computer to my Windows 11 computer. But I still can’t get The Sims one to work on my Windows 11 computer. Can somebody please help me out?

     Just copying the files will not work because there is a registry entry required for it to work

    I’ve done everything and then finally got to the setup screen somehow and it won’t load the game when I press 800×600 or 1024×768. Just loading cursor and nothing

    Hello, I have been able to get the game to run- but any time i try to save the game says “an error was encountered saving the house”.

    I have installed the game, but it will not work properly. It comes up a “Error Couldnt import the family” thing in the neighborhood and I can’t save or play any new families, couse the Sims themselvs won’t load on the lot.

      i think you forget something before this i also got the same problem
      when you try to install it first where was you put the sims profile at the my computer ?
      open no cd from the extract you get from the download at the first time copy the sims exe then past in the profile you save at my computer early the viola the game can be play
