     I got the same error, when i redirected the download to my HDD disk with alot more space on it than my SSD it worked! So i guess you need to make sure you have alot of space! Hope it works!

   Hi! Im having this “ISDone.dll” error (the description is in Russian for some reason) popping up everytime i try to press install in setup.exe so i can’t get past step 4 🙁

   Can anyone help? I’ve been trying for days- ToT)/ I’m on 32-bit WinXP and have lots of space for it to install too

     is your computer language set to russian/ or is one of your keyboard settings russian? it sounds like your computer might have something wrong in the language settings. regarding the error, “ISDone.dll” it is fairly common error people receive regarding their computer archive when installing games apparently, so there are several “how to fix” instructions online. just do a quick search.

   Hi! The game works as it should, but I have very big problems with resolution 🙁 I don’t have TSdata, which means I can’t change the resolution 🙁 please help!

     During Sims 2 era (and early Sims 3), each pack brought a new .exe file, and each of them had to be cracked. The one that’s cracked in this collection is the latest one, so you have to run the game from Mansion and Garden stuff bin. Running any other .exe will ask you for the disk.

   I just went through all the steps from the video below and it still has that crash error I saw in the comments for how to play and missing terrain files and where to place them if I play the regular game. This version is 100% fake. Don’t bother. No good sites seem to have it either. They are all pay to download or something along those lines. Or you can give your computer a virus and torrent it. I guess I’ll never get to play this game again.

   This copy is BULL! I have tried to change the compatibility settings and get it to work. It has screen tearing and WON’T let me play. As soon as I try to load the how to play or the game, it crashes. The poster won’t help either I see from the comments. Post a fix!

    I can’t figure out how to make shadows go away, I turned them off in my settings and when my sims are inside the shadows are still there! Help!!!

      change the graphic>shadow>medium

    Does anyone know why the shadows won’t go away? I have shadows off in my settings but when my sim is inside theres still a shadow 😳

      Try changing them to medium if the black box shows up, otherwise, try restarting your game after you change the setting.

    Is there something wrong with the setup.exe?

    I can’t even install the game.
    I tried both downloads and both give me a setup which allows me to set, which installation path I’d like, whether there should be a shortcut in the start menu folder, and whether I’d like DirectX to be installed.
    No matter what settings I choose, after I click on “Install”, it simply crashes without telling me what went wrong. The setup simply closes as if it had never been run.

    Any suggestions?

    I have downloaded and installed but I cannot even launch the game. It just gives an error message saying that the game has crashed and needs to terminate.

    When i am downloading this the icon at the bottom isn’t a zip folder, its an internet explorer icon. I’ve something like that with custom and i had problems with it, Please help!

      I think you just have to wait until it fully downloads. For me it showed an internet explorer icon until the download was complete!
