During the move to a new home, a Cabbage Patch Kid's pony becomes lost when the pony's trailer is accidentally unhitched from the family vehicle. Now all alone with no home in sight, players must embark on a journey to find the lost pony. They can choose to play as either a Cabbage Patch Kid or a pony, as they travel through interactive environments. Along the way, players will make new friends, discover friendly animals, and solve puzzles that will unlock pathways and shortcuts to the location of the lost pony. The story was narrated by Jason Griffith.
