About Spider-Man: Web of Shadows

Spider-Man: Web of Shadows is a 2008 action-adventure video game based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. The game was released in October 2008 across multiple platforms, and encompasses three drastically different versions: one released for Microsoft Windows, the PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360, which features an open world and non-linear gameplay; one for the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable (titled Spider-Man: Web of Shadows – Amazing Allies Edition), which is a 2.5D side-scrolling beat 'em up; and one for the Nintendo DS, a Metroidvania-style beat 'em up. All three versions have several common elements, such as moral choices that alter the narrative, the ability to summon allies during fights, and a similar plot, despite different characters being featured. Web of Shadows' storyline is significantly darker than most previous Spider-Man games, as it revolves around a symbiote invasion threatening Manhattan, which Spider-Man must stop with the help of several unlikely allies.

    ‘m having problems opening the game, a white error screen appears saying that I don’t have certain dll’s, and even though I downloaded them it kept giving me an error, I did everything but it’s not working, could anyone help me with this?

    “The game settings are missing or out of date. Please run the Game Launcher to configure game settings”

    That would be fine, if the launcher even opened in the first place.

    Okay, I’ve read a lot of comments saying, “I don’t know how to get this game working!” Fear no more, I have a solution to all of your problems! So, you basically want to go through the whole installation process, now this is the bit I see a lot of people struggling on, how do you find the actual application? What you want to do, is go to This PC in files, scroll down to Program Files (x86), click on it then scroll down to R.G Mechanics, and low and behold, the WoS application is right there! The game has been running fine so far, except for when you have to take out the snipers. If you don’t take them out in time then you’ll fail the mission, leading to the game crashing. This mission is impossible, I literally cannot get this done. Also, does anyone know if you can use a controller for this?

      its easy, just keep using web strike, press tab or whatever keys you have on for the spider sense, it will highlight the sniper, then web strike, upgrade web strike combo to one hit em

    I have been trying to figure out how to get this game working all day (yes, im that desperate) but everytime i try to play i get errors or cant even get the game open
