Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (sometimes known as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in the United States) is an action-adventure video game with platform elements published by Electronic Arts. It is based on J.K Rowling's novel of the same name and the film adaptation. Philosopher's Stone was initially developed for the Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color, Microsoft Windows and PlayStation in November 2001, and was re-made two years later for the GameCube, PlayStation 2 and Xbox in December 2003.

      Same! I had it downloaded years ago, and when I went to try and open it again, it gives me an error message!

      Chamber of Secrets still works though! Please update this one!

    I made it work on my Windows 10 (with all the stuff described in Method 2 + Win10 fix), but camera control is weird, especially via mouse.
    I’d like to use Method 1, but files are missing if I go down the links…

    I’ve installed it on Windows 11 using method 2. At first the game was not launching but it worked with Windows 10 fix, for some reason. However, the game is superfast. All dialogue is being skiped automatically and Harry runs really fast.

    I installed this on my old laptop with Windows 8 and it worked perfectly with the Windows 10 fix file. My old laptop is shitty and kept lagging, so I installed it on my new laptop with Windows 11. It is not working 🙁
    I tried everything and I looked at the comments as well. I get this error: general protection fault! history: appinit.
    the weird part is that I installed HP2 and it is working perfectly on this laptop. help :’)

    Followed all of your instructions multiple times but it won’t load. I can get to the main menu window but when I hit play, I get a black screen for a few seconds then it just crashes.
