   Is there anyway to open the files without internet explorer? I keep dowloading it but I can’t open it and I can’t take another application, im confused about how to install it

     install WinRar to extract the entire folder. it’ll unzip everything.

   The game works and I’m happy it does, there are a few things.

   1. The game randomly crashes/ freezes quite a bit and it’s kinda frustrating at times. I’ve lowered the quality, shadows, and any effects and it will still crash.

   2. Traveling anywhere will crash the game. If I try to go to a different location, I always get an error.

   3. It’s not letting me add any pets. Anytime I try to do that, I get an error message as well.

   Does anyone know if there’s a way to fix these issues?

     Download and Install the graphics rules maker and apply the 4gb patch. Those are the 2 main things that can fix your game crashing.

   It works! but can you guys tell me how to install CCs? It said requires CC folder but in this file i can not find the folder. If i make the folder by myself, will it be work?

       this does not help lol, they are saying the ts2 folder (usually in documents) does not exist. i also cant find my downloads folder

   I have downloaded everything however, after I have clicked o nthe town I’d like to place it loads for about 10 seconds then closes down.

   I have scrolled through the comments and tried everything, watched all the hell videos attached but nothing seems to fix it. Anyone have any ideas?

   Someone could make it run in Windows 10 + nvidia rtx 3080, i saw some hardcoding things about the video card in a configuration file but i dont understand enough to change it. The game close itself after loading a purple screen

    setup.exe wont open after extraction and dxwebsetup, winrar diagnostic msg saying header and archive folder are corrupt

      Hey,
      I had the same problem, you have to extract everything on a folder before double clicking “setup.exe”, not right inside your extract program !

      Wchodzisz w Edytor rejestru (wyszukaj na komputerze regedit i uruchom) i następnie wchodzisz: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> WOW6432Node -> EA Games -> The Sims 2
      Klikasz na folder “1.0” i pojawi się tam na boku na liście “Language” oraz “LanguageName”. Wciskasz “Language” i zmieniasz na 14, w “LanguageName” zmieniasz na Polish.
      Powinno być już po polsku, jak nie to zrób to samo z dodatkiem The Sims 2 Mansion and Garden Stuff. Gra powinna być teraz po polsku 🙂
