    How to play on Windows

    1. Download and Extract The_House_of_the_Dead_Win_RIP_EN.7z
    2. Open the "Game Files" folder and mount House Of the Dead 2.img to an empty drive
    3. Run SETUP.EXE and follow on-screen instructions to install the game
    4. Go to game installation directory (by default C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2) and run Hod2.exe
    5. Play the game
    6. Note: Start button is "TAB"

    when i opened game files i cant find the setup.exe i tried openin the other programs but nothing worked can someone please help

    i have the game disc and cant get past sega screen it turns into a black screen that plays some sound and then stops any help?

      Download WinCDEmu, right click your House of the Dead 2 folder. Press Build ISO Image, and after that, mount the ISO, then run the game. It should fix your issue.

    I wonder if the setup.exe has background and sound? Bcuz I am afraid of sound and background of every game setup

    the game works flawlessly on windows 10
    but it took me a while to figure out how
    all you have to do is:
    1- use power iso (don’t use windows 10 to mount)
    2- install the game as usual
    3- mount “the house of the dead 2.img” with power iso
    4- run the exe file from the setup location and if doesn’t work, right click it. click troubleshoot compatability
    5- that’s it enjoy the game

      Do you have to pay for power iso or can it do it the base version., Dont wanna spend 30 bucks for a free game made in 1990s. Also, i keep getting an error that the disc image is corrupted. What do I do

      How do you run power iso. My hod2 is an image file but it will not run. All I get is that small screen asking me if I want to play, exit, install etc. it does noting but change the screen size. Game never comes up. I have had this game on this laptop before and it worked fine. Not now. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    I am getting the “please enter disk 2” message also. I decompressed the DATA.CAB file (largest file), and it had a bunch of .wav and other files. I’m guessing that the “disc 2” error comes from not reading the DATA.CAB file correctly, as it seems that file has the information to run the game. It didn’t help to decompress the file either. I still go the disk 2 error. Any one have other ideas?

    I finished mounting the game and following the set up instruction but the moment I open the “HOTD2.exe” file it says “Please insert disk 2.” Can anyone please help?

    ok can you explain this the house of the dead games don’t work or they don’t work the way that’s needed i mean the first one the resolution was off the mouse barley worked so yea im sorry you claim you work hard? yea i cant believe you. as if you did you would test your work and give us a fucking way to make these work right!
