About Axis & Allies

Axis & Allies is a real-time strategy World War II video game developed by TimeGate Studios and published by Atari for Microsoft Windows. The game was released on November 2, 2004. It is based on the board game series Axis & Allies from Milton Bradley and also on TimeGate's Kohan series. Set in the years after Japan and the United States entered into the war, the game allows the player to act as a World War II commander to build military forces to fight against other generals, using military units and technologies from the war. The player is able to alter the history of World War II.

    How to play on Windows

    1. Download the "Axis_and_Allies_2004_Preinstalled_Win_EN.zip" file from the link above.
    2. Open the downloaded .zip file and extract the "Axis_and_Allies_2004_Preinstalled_Win_EN" folder to your desktop. You will need to use a software such as WinRAR to do this.
    3. Open the extracted "Axis_and_Allies_2004_Preinstalled_Win_EN" folder and then open the "Game Files" folder.
    4. Double click on the file called "AA.exe" and your game should now launch. When you first launch, they will ask you to insert a CD-key. Simply copy-paste the following key: B2WS-6JGH-PV7G-PBKP

        hi i downloaded the game but i have this error
        An error has occured:
        thread MAIN caught unhandled exception- Access Violation
        (C0000005) trapped at 1B:B3FF94

        To aid the development team in fixing bugs please submit the log file
        (Logs/log-3.log) and minidump file (Logs/log-3.dmp)

    Hi there, I have downloaded the zip file and extracted it, but I do not know how to install the game. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Install seems to work, but when I click on the shortcut it just says “Please insert the INFOGRAMES START-UP DISC”

    Ok, i downloaded and unzipped. What is to happen from here, there is not exe or other type file. Sorry, normally do not play with zip files.
